The Exeter Ice House

The Blizzard Pee Wee II team from the Exeter Ice House captured the Merrimack Valley League Green Continental Championship with a 4-1 victory over Newburyport, Mass at the Valley Forum, April 12. The Blizzard went on to advance to the Continental Conference championships, but lost in a double-overtime shootout to Lynnfield, Mass. The Blizzard, which was coached by Guy Kidd, assisted by Bob Fuller, Ed Crowley and Brian Day and managed by Barbara Kidd, finished 22-2 overall after wrapping up the regular season with a 19-1 record. Members of the team included Hampton's Reno Fuller and Stephen Troiano; Fremont's Zach Kidd, Zack Matthews, Mike Rich and Dean Leone; Sandown's Brendan Crowley, Sean Crowley and Danny Duffy; Hampstead's Ryan Day; Danville's Nick Pantinas; Epping's Jared Nickerson and Grant Stejbach; and Kennebunk, Maine's Johnny Ratoff.
