The Exeter Junior Freeze are happy to announce the signing of forward Cody Blevins. Blevins is from Springfield, Missouri and has a knack for putting the puck in the net as he finished as one of the top 3 scorers in each of the 3 high school varsity seasons he played, averaging 52 points per season (20 to 25 games). He played for the Kansas City Stars last season, racking up 30 points in just 18 games. Blevins also spent a summer playing for the Russell Stover Stars (AAA).
"Cody will be a big contributor to our already productive offense" says Jr. Freeze head coach Dick Arpin. "We have a very aggressive training camp that begins in August that will help get him prepared and the team will be ready for the season opener on August 29 in the IJHL Labor Day Showcase in Saugus, MA".
Blevins will also be making the trip from Missouri to play for the Junior Freeze in the Northern Cyclones Tournament July 17-20.
WELCOME TO THE FREEZE, CODY!
